On-Site Customer Service:
Traditional insurance companies employ internal customer service representatives. Insurance agents typically provide on-site customer service. We feel this customer service model is inadequate because agents are salespeople, not customer service experts. We offer an external customer service department who regularly visit our lender clients. This on-site service is unique to the industry, and is another reason for Miniter Group’s Success.

Monitoring the Cycle Time: the key to Customer Service
Customer Service for our insurance products is simple. Deliver a solution that expedites claim payments. This solution however is not easily obtained. It takes dedicated personnel from both Miniter Group and our lender clients to reduce and maintain claims cycle times below 10 days. This ultimately leads to our lender clients reducing their liquidation cycle time. Our customer service experts spend the majority of their time working with our lender client personnel to train them how to reduce this cycle time.

Claims Processing:
Since our introduction of on-line claims processing in 2000, we now process over 95% of our claims over the Internet. Our lenders file claims in the e-commerce section of www.miniter.com. From that point forward our lenders can monitor the real-time status of the claim as it moves through 3 parallel processes. A messaging system is part of the Miniter Group web application that allows our claims adjusters to communicate directly over the web much like an internet chat room. Appraisals are completed by certified appraisal companies that process appraisals consistently with digital photos. These photos are available to our clients as soon as they are received on Miniter Group’s web site.
