Web Based Claims Processing:
Since our introduction of on line claims processing in 2000, we now process over 95% of our claims over the Internet. Our lenders file claims in our e-commerce section of www.miniter.com. From that point forward our lenders can monitor the real-time status of the claim as it moves through 3 parallell processes. A messaging system is part of the Miniter web application that allows our claims adjusters to communicate directly over the web much like an internet chat room. Appraisals are completed by a nationwide appraisal company that processes appraisals consistently with digital photos. These photos are available to our clients as soon as they are received on the Miniter website.
The features of the claim process are:
- 10 day claim turnaround with optional EFT of claim payment.
- 5 day claims appraisal of our client's collateral. Digital pictures and appraisal reports are delivered directly to our clients over the web so that the collateral can be liquidated more quickly.
- Real time status updates and reports for claims in process.
- Closed claims are archived on the website indefinitely for review.
- Optional integration to our clients's collection systems to provide automated claims filing that is simply a click of the mouse reducing claims staffing needs.
